I've had a lovely few days...but I'm exhausted.

This past week we had just two days of school because of Aid al Fatr (the feast that ends Ramadan.)  It seems most of the teachers took the oppurtunity to hit the road and go see more of Morocco. I was no exception, taking a roadtrip with Fahd to Ouarzazate. (Sounds a lot like 'Where is that?')

I'm utterly beat at the moment and though I had the best intention to update my blog today...its just not happening.  I'm going to bring my laptop to school tomorrow and try and get the pics formatted for the web and get the entry underway...so hopefully I'll have something up tomorrow night.

I will say that it was a good trip and that the High Atlas Mountains are gorgeous but the road through them...not so much.   I hope to put up some video tomorrow too....you'll see.

On another note, its been a strange day back in Marrakech.  It seems the water was shut off last night....in the whole city!!  I've had no water today from the time I got up (9am) to just about a half hour ago (8:30pm).  It's been a royal pain in the butt...not able to do dishes, laundry, take a shower or flush the toilet. What a headache.  It seems to be back on now...but I'm keeping my fingers crossed because you can never tell with these things in Morocco.  Its mind boggling that a city of more than 1Million can be without water for a day. So strange!

Okay. I've got to call it an early night. We start work an hour earlieer starting tomorrow (because Ramadan is finished).  I've got after school duty too so I'll be staying a few hours later as well.  And the bus home...it leaves an hour later.  In total, it adds up to 4 more hours at school per day this week. Ugh!
Gotta go get some zzzzzzzz's.
