I'm back online and blogging after a long break. I'll be more consisitent in 2008, promise!
I'm enjoying a little New Year's glow here in Korea. Last night, as the new year rang in across the time zones of the world, I got to chat with many friends living around the globe. Zakaria in China, Mary in New York, Katie in Annapolis, Sean in Dublin, Paddy in Donnegal and left a message for Jason in Amsterdam. This morning (ok, afternoon) I woke to a call from Ayhan in England! It was lovely to hear all those lovely, friendly voices and I've not stopped smiling today....which is a nice change in the last dull months left in Korea.
I've spent the day doing some resoluting, organizing and planning. This year promises to be full of new and different challenges, interesting events and....who knows what?
I'm in Korea until the end of February, then back to New York (yay!). I turn 30 (!!!) at the end of March. My sister is getting married in May and then...??? I'll be spending time in Morocco with Zakaria, but I'm not exactly sure when as of yet. So...the first few months of the year are already filling up with plans! Incredible!
My motto for the year...Boogie Down! Keep your smile shining, your heart light and rock on!
