Ahhh...the long barren landscape between posts....

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh...how times flies.
And still...I have nothing cohesive to say.
It's been a couple of crazy, crazy weeks.
Zakaria got here...thanks to my mom. She jumped in and helped me buy a new ticket because I couldn't afford it. THANKS MOM! I appreciate it! My mom rocks!
The first few weeks have been a bit tumultuous trying to get used to living in a tiny studio apartment together...especially considering Zakaria's propension for leaving things where he using them, instead of where he found them. Drives me crazy! I like things in order...but I've broken him in in this respect....a little.
Not much has been going on besides domesticity.
But...I have next week off.....yay!!!! Vacation!!! Finally!!!! (even though I can't afford to go anywhere...feeding Zak, no matter how skinny he is, has become a full time job!!)
I promise to spend some quality time with my computer and get bak to everyone I haven't spoken to in awhile.

Five people were killed and several others injured Monday in a Ferris wheel accident at a mobile amusement park in South Korea's southern port city of Busan, Yonhap News Agency reported.
The accident took place when the 66-meter-high Giant Wheel at the World Carnival malfunctioned, causing one spinning gondola car to collide with another, police officials were quoted as saying.
They said the gondola door opened, causing its occupants to plunge 20 meters to the ground.
They comprised four women and a 6-year-old boy, all members of the same family who had come to Busan for their summer vacation, the report said.
Four of them were killed on the spot and another died while receiving medical treatment in a nearby hospital.
The World Carnival is a "mobile amusement park" that has about 30 assembled rides and other entertainment facilities.
It opened in Busan last month for a 40-day run after its recent four- month operation in Hong Kong. It has also been held in Beijing and Bangkok.
The Giant Wheel is hailed by World Carnival organizers as the world's tallest touring giant wheel.
Never happens in Jersey!

Between this and the Taliban hostages, Korea is sure getting a lot of coverage on CNN World New Asia. Crazy time to be here. Though, I'm not sure it's ever not a crazy time to be here....
