So my good news I promised a few weeks ago....it's finally confirmed. 

ZAKARIA IS COMING TO KOREA!  Finally! 

We went through the long process of getting him a visa (even though Moroccans don't actually, technically need one) because it will avoid issues on entrance and lay the ground work for getting a work visa.  When he met with the consulate he commended Zakria on going through the process saying that immigration officers are much tougher at the airports now. 

So now the visa is confirmed! Yay!  And...the airplane ticket booked. Yay!
Zakaria will be here on the 20th! I can't believe it...after such a long wait he'll suddenly be here in a week and a half. We're both so happy and excited, giggling like little kids when we talk about it.    

Having Zakaria here will make Korea a whole new experience. I can't think of two countries more different than Morocco and Korea.  I know it will be interesting, challenging and crazy. Funny, strange and enlightening.  Never mind the fact that we'll be living in my little studio together after two years on our relationship spanning 4000 miles.

AND...there's some other news that I can't tell you yet. I may have a chance to do something really cool for someone...  And yes, I know this is coy and confusing, but I need some more details before I can spill the beans.  I'll let you know soon...check back for details.
