I know nothing about Lindsay Lohan....

I realized today that I know nothing, have heard nothing, have been subjected to nothing about the current goings-on of Hollywood's stars and starlets for my entire two months in Korea. I know nothing about Lindsay Lohan's current woes, no gossip about the creepy Katie Holmes/Tom Cruise pairing, no Cameron, no Justin, no Britney or Madonna and, most thankfully, nothing Jessica Simpson.
I've heard nothing of America's musicians either. Nor troublesome sports stars, or obnoxious famous-for-nothings like Paris Hilton. I have had not one iota of news about any celebrities (except Barcelona players ...and YES, they are celebrities) for a solid two months.
I've become only vaguely familiar (I mean, really, just an inkling familiar) with some of Korea's personalities...but I couldn't name any if I tried. Except...uh...what's the name of that silly boy band...Super....super something....nope, I don't know. (I can tell you that this crazy boy band here has 13 members...but that's all I know.)
And so it seems, my brain is free of clutter.
In New York I never saught out the entertainment gossip but it darn well got into my head anyway. The tabloids, the glossy mags, the entertainment shows, the overheard chit chat...and for god sake, the evening news...all conspired to fill my head with utter nonsense.
I am remarkably free from that here.

Except...I just remembered that boy band is called Super Junior....darn.

...my co-worker said it was Angelina and thinks it was a Vietnamese kid this time.
Anyway, I miss you so much! I'm sending you a long email this weekend b/c I actually have alot to tell you.
