I realize my travels are starting annoy some people…but I’m off again…

This evening I will board a plane with my mom. We’re off to Europe…my mom’s first trip outside the US!
We land first in Milan, where we have a 6 hour layover, hopefully enough time to go have lunch in the city. We then connect to Vienna!
We’ll be in Vienna from Wednesday to Sunday. Vienna: land of stately buildings, coffee, cake, dancing horses and high-pitched little boy choirs.
From there we’ll take a train to a tiny Alpine town called Friesach, for something a little different. We’ll only be there one night before we board the next train, to Venice! Venice: land of gondolas, canals, randy Italian men and gold covered buildings! We’ve got Monday-Friday in Venice, before hopping a plane back home.
It should be a great trip! Our plans are all ironed out…and they sound great. We’re staying in nice hotels, we’ve got our tickets to the Vienna Boys Choir as well as the Lippizanner Horses at the Spanish Riding School. Venice, I expect, will just unfold before us beautifully without specific plans, it’s just that perfect.
So, I’m off again, amazingly.
I’ll keep you all posted when I can.
